I've seen some advert giving 2km flight range, it's totally wrong, maximum distance is 100m, working with Wifi. Fortunately It's very light and doesn't get so much damages when crashing.

The thing is not auto stabilized and You'll crash a lot before you can perfectly fly as the software sometime doesn't respond properly through the touch screen. Anyway, despite there are very very little explanation on the user guide, be aware that it is not easy to make it fly properly. They answered that I purchased 2 and got 2.and that for them is correct. So, I complained to the Hyperstech support that 1 drone was missing in their delivery. I choose to buy 2 to get 3, but I received only 2 after 3 weeks (quite a long time for delivery). On the official site there was a promotion early January which said, buy 2 get 1 more for free, etc. Like most people noticed, lot of advert everywhere about that "supposedly" amazing little drone. If you are wondering about getting one just for fun in the backyard, it's a nice investment, i'd say. No complains, you actually get more than what you paid for. The custom service is not the best, they took around 2 days to get back to me because the app was not working, but then I realize the problem was somewhere in the settings, which they helped me figuring out by email. I bought it not just with the purpose of getting into this "drone world" and practice before buying a more expensive one, but also to entertain my 7 year-old boy. I mean, do not expect the same quality as the dji mavic, for instance, once as the dji costs around a few hundred/thousand bucks, this one was just for 99.ĭont get me wrong, it's not the best one in the market, but for the price-quality you get, I am pretty satisfied with my purchase. You paid US$99 for something you didnt get to enjoy, and have to incur the cost to mail back to CHINA, instead of a local handler. The China seller asked me to mail it back, giving me a whole load of Chinese character as its address, as if everyone in the world knows Chinese. I lost confidence in this product and asked for a refund. When I tried to turn the propeller, to see if it was stiff, I realised the arm, near the motor of the propeller, to be really hot and the plastic around it had shown signs of melting.
The same failed propeller didnt work still.Īll in all, the drone was turned on no more than 5 minutes.

I left it on while I continue looking at the manual and trying to understand how it works, and tried to use it again. On my first attempt to use it, without letting it take off, within 1 minute, 1 of the propeller failed.
